The Calm.

The world today is full of fast paced noise, constant stimulation, and instant gratification. Finding a way to calm the noise and achieve a sense of serenity is nearly impossible.  Through running, as a form of meditation, you can calm the noise.  Start small, create a habit, and before you know it, you will runtocalmthenoise, and help others find their own way to calm the noise.

Community.

The running community is a unique and special place.  All walks of life and all abilities come together to support, teach, celebrate, and learn from each other.  Bringing the running community closer, helping others, and packing positivity into the stream of life, is the ongoing mission of runtocalmthenoise. It all begins with living the runtocalmthenoise movement.  Learn to find peace and serenity through running, and focus on guiding others to find their way.  Be kind, be honest, help others, and create a positive ripple in your community. If you live the movement, then wear it with pride. It begins with each and every one of us.  Are you in?.

Twenty Two Veterans a day die by suicide. The struggle they face when they come home from war is unimaginable. Many try to bury their trauma, or find unhealthy ways to calm the noise in their head. This can be through alcohol, drugs, and addiction to other risky behaviors.

runtocalmthenoise seeks to help Veterans in need by promoting running, positive messaging, and community. By bringing them in to the running community, we are introducing them to one of the healthiest forms of combating PTSD and addiction.
